Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now, Faith is the substance of the things you hope for and the evidence of the things you cannot see." What I want to share briefly is the EVIDENCE of the things you cannot see.
As I was praying this morning, the Lord showed me how this scripture works IN our favor! You see, I know 1 John 5:14-15 states, "If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us, then we know we receive the petitions we desired of Him." Jesus taught in Mark 11:22-24 that we were to "have Faith in God....believe you receive the things you ask for as you pray, and you shall receive them."
Ok, look at like this (this what the Lord showed me this morning). Are you saved? (yes). How do you know? I know because Romans 10:9 says "Whosoever shall confess with his mouth and believe with his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead shall be saved." "OK" the Lord said, "but why do you believe this?" "Because it's in your Word and your Word is true, John 17:17" I responded. He said, "That's right, but HOW do you know you are saved?" I said, "I believe by Faith." That is when He said this, "So, because you seen it in my Word and prayed the scripture and BELIEVED it when you prayed it...nobody can talk you out of it?" I replied with, "That is exactly right." His response was, "When did you receive it?" (The moment I prayed). "When will you see the manifestation of it?" he asked. "Well" I replied, "when I get to Heaven...but it is also evident on this earth in my daily life."
"So," the Lord said, "you believed you received it when you prayed...and got it. But you will not see the actual manifestation of it until later...but yet, you KNOW you got it and the benefits of it are being seen in your life right now."
Now, I may have been born at night...but not last night! The Light came on! I SEE what He was talking about. "And about healing," He continued, "When did you receive your healing?" "That's easy," I answered, "You took care of that at Cavalry. By your stripes, we WERE healed! And, if we WERE healed, that means we ARE healed."
"So," the Lord said, "You believe you receive your healing as soon as pray for it?" "That's correct," I said. "But, what about the symptoms of the sickness that linger on your body for a few more days? the Lord asked. "Well, I stand on your Word and I am not moved by what I see or what I feel, but I am moved only by your Word...and your Word says I am healed."
"Good," the Lord complimented. "So, you believe you receive as you pray. You are not moved by what you see, but yet you KNOW you received what you prayed for. It worked the same way as your salvation. Correct?" "YES," I answered.
"So you KNOW you received...even when you cannot see it? And simply because you CAN see it in the Word? Is that right?" the Lord asked. "YES, that is correct" I responded.
"So, the EVIDENCE is because you CANNOT SEE IT. You must take it by Faith, KNOWING you received. Once you have the manifestation...no further FAITH is required on your part." I was starting to SEE with my Faith exactly what He was talking about!!!
You see folks, when we pray...and pray according to the scriptures (I have said over and over, "If you can find ONE example in the Bible where the Lord answered someones prayer in a situation similar to yours, you can stand on it and take to Him in prayer to get your answer also)...we can BELIEVE He hears us and, since we KNOW He hears us, we can now KNOW we receive the petitions we desired of Him. We have the PROOF that we receive because WE KNOW in our heart it is so...the PROOF (the EVIDENCE) is because WE CANNOT YET SEE THE MANIFESTATION!
It is the EVIDENCE WE CANNOT SEE that gives our Faith what it needs to grow. Once the manifestation comes...we can no longer grow in our Faith in that area. So it is OUR FAITH that is needed to grow...and that brings the manifestation. Jesus said, "Be onto you according to your Faith." Give your Faith a chance to grow by BELIEVING you RECEIVE and thanking HIM because YOU CANNOT SEE IT YET WITH YOUR NATURAL EYES - BUT USE YOUR EYE OF FAITH!!!
And give Him Praise for the Answered Prayer!

Season of Tests and Trials
Have you ever wondered WHY situations arise that try to get you off of the work you want to do for God? I mean, in my life, I am trying to go full throttle working for God, and then WHAM, I get broadsided with stuff that I did not even have any part in!!!
I am not going to go into detail, but now, today, I am preparing to go to the Police Department to file a written response to a Letter of Complaint which was mailed "in my name; with a forged signature" making outrageous claims that I have never declared...a NASTY letter, full of racial overtones and such...it makes me sick and MAD at the same time!
Thank God the Major assigned to conduct the investigation called me...I told him I had absolutely NOTHING to do with this letter. So, today, I am going in with a written statement totally absolving myself of this thing...I am also asking for a complete and thorough investigation be made to expose the person who did write this.
Thank God for His Word. Immediately after I found out about this letter, the Lord dropped Isaiah 54:17 into my spirit, "No weapon formed against me will prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgement, I will condemn, saith the Lord...for your righteousness is of me saith the Lord." PRAISE GOD! Then, although I have prayed to forgive the person who did this thing, I also asked the Lord to uphold Psalms 109:7-8 where the person who did this thing will be brought before the judge and his prayer turn into sin and he be removed from his office and it be given to another. In other words, may he be exposed, judged and what he was praying for (an investigation) be turned against him...then judgement be rendered and his position on the police force be terminated and replaced with another.
Well, Brother Bob, that sounds harsh!!! I thought you forgave him. I DID! I could pursue legal ramifications for Libel and Slander. But, after praying, I will not. However, the office of a police officer must be above reproach. If he is discovered and only gets a slap on the wrist, this will come back in his career later. He could be promoted and end up in charge of a large, major criminal investigation. Then, the defense attorney obtains a copy of his police file and asks in court, "Did you ever commit fraud? NO? What about this....?" Then turn to the judge and say, "Not only did he commit fraud, but he is lying about now, while under oath. We cannot trust anything this officer says." And the whole case will be thrown out and every case he ever worked on would be under appeal.
This person, by doing this act, violated his oath and now must be judged and removed from his office, regardless of rank or position.
I started this out talking about a Season of Tests and Trials...Seasons, tests and trials are not permanent. Just like summer, fall, winter and spring...they are a cycle. So, stand fast in the Lord, never loose Faith that God is in control. Psalms 66:12 says when we have gone through the Fire and through the Flood, God will bring us out into a WEALTHY PLACE! Daniel 20:20-21 says that the seasons are under God's control - not the devil's. When God says your season of trials and temptations are over - they are OVER! Praise God!
Well, I guess I better get going. Off to file this police report.

Back from the 4th of July Holiday?
I hope and pray everyone had a Blessed 4th of July! I did not take a vacation this year. Instead, I focused on spending time in God's Word, spending time with Him and spending time with my family. In retrospect - this was probably one of the best 4th of July's I have every had!
I have been following the Southwest Believers Convention on the Internet - every service so far! I wanted to be there - LIVE - this year, but with the transition to full time ministry, I felt the need to stay at home and work on ministry "things" instead of traveling. But, I am following EVERY SERVICE as if I were there. I have an entire notebook almost filled up with notes! Glory to God!
One thing I wanted to share with everyone, is a comment Brother Kenneth Copeland made the first night. It just resonated in my spirit: "God founded Israel because He Loved His people. People founded the United States of America, because the people LOVED GOD! And God will NOT forget either country!"
Isn't that a great revelation? I hope it Blesses you as much as it did me.

PRAYER ON THE FLOOR OF THE US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
On 6-21-2011, my wife and I had a chance to take our Grand Daughter, Zoe, to the Heritage of Faith Capitol Tour in DC. We were able to tour the National Gardens before the tour, also. The highlight, was when we received an unexpected blessing to go on the actual FLOOR of the US House of Representatives with our group of Pastors.
After approximately a 20 minute briefing by Congressman Braun (R-GA) on the House floor, the group was able to pray ON THE FLOOR, for the Lord to continue Blessing this nation. Then, as the group began to file out, my wife, myself and Zoe stayed behind (allowing most of the group to leave) and we prayed a special, Holy Ghost Anointed prayer request for the LORD to guide the thoughts and hearts of all the House Members that walk on that floor; that HIS WILL is done, not man's.
That is the part I will take from the tour, as well as for my Grand Daughter... and we give ALL PRAISE TO GOD!!! (Unfortunately, there were no pictures allowed to be taken on the House Floor, but it was a Blessing to be allowed to go there and an even BIGGER BLESSING TO KNOW THAT A RIGHTEOUS, POWER PACKED PRAYER WAS MADE THERE!).

Introducing: Freedom Through Faith Interactive Church
On June 19, 2011, we launched a new style church service over the internet: Freedom Through Faith Interactive Church. This one hour broadcast is being hosted by "Talkshoe," who provides us the access and the ability to receive instant chat messages as well as telephone calls into the LIVE program!
Service times will be at 10am every Sunday morning (Eastern US Time Zone). The typical layout of the service will be a Bible Study for the first 30 minutes or so, followed by call ins and chat messages. You can request prayer, make comments or give your testimony! All as part of the service. It is also being recorded and will post to the Talkshoe account about one hour after the broadcast ends - so you can tell your friends to listen in!
Just click on the green "Talkshoe" link on this page - and it will take you right to our account with the information for you to listen in and participate! We also have the same link on our website at www.ftfm.org.
This is just another way in which we are getting the Word of God out over the airwaves. We are striving to fulfill our mandate to "Empower others to impact their world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." And we are moving forward all the time and using EVERY available voice we can find!

Urgent Prayer for Pakistan
It has been brought to my attention of a very serious situation concerning our brother and sister Christians in Pakistan. Leading Islamic Clerics have petitioned the highest court in Pakistan to issue an edict under the "Blasphemy Law" which will "outlaw" the possession of the Christian Bible. Approval of this edict under this provision of law would "allow" the immediate lynching and execution of anyone caught possessing a Christian Bible - regardless if it was for personal use or not.
This is in response to the Florida Pastor who burned the Koran and the recent American raid in killing Bin Laden on Pakistani soil has given fuel to this fire. The Pakistani government is under immense pressure to approve this edict.
I ask for Christians everywhere who reads this Blog to PLEASE, PLEASE - PRAY for our Brother and Sister Christians in Pakistan. God is Faithful and will answer the Prayers of the Righteous when asked in Faith. So please pray for this - and pass it along to others as well.
